UTS is a provider for a wide range of steam turbine services. Attending to different clients’ needs are parts and parcel of our job. No two assignments are the same, and while we treat each assignment differently to cater to the specific needs of each
respective project, we do have a set of Standard Operating Procedures that we adhere to, as delivering quality services is our promise to all our clients.

When a client comes in with a request, we ought to attain as much details as possible, as thoroughly understanding the needs of the client is the first step towards tailoring the best solution for our clients.

ANALYSE
With the information in hand, we dive deeper into the assignment by analysing previous service reports (if available) of retainer clients, together with prior information attained from the clients, we then figure out the proper execution plan for the assignment.

Being the primary power generator to accommodate the operation in mill, steam turbine servicing is crucial to ensure optimal performance and reliability. minimize equipment downtime that directly contributes to maximization of mill production output, revenue and profitability. Advantages of performing servicing timely are:
1. Equipment health check to identify and address potential issues of wear and tear of steam turbine components to plan for repair, overhaul, part replacement or system improvement. Preventive maintenance before major failures also helps to extend the longevity of steam turbine.
2. Minimize unexpected financial loss to perform costly steam turbine repair or mill downtime resulted from improper maintenance schedule.
3. Upkeep efficiency of steam turbine with servicing and cleaning of corroded components, fine-tuning of control system and other parameters to ensure optimum steam flow thus minimize wastage of fuel.
4. Ensure safe steam turbine running operation in high speed and high temperature condition to prevent unwanted accident and damages.

We understand time is crucial in every operation, hence a steam turbine annual service could be completed in minimum of 4 working days to meet the demanding schedule if without major overhaul work required.
We provide 2 months warranty on our workmanship and part replacement unless stated otherwise, except failure contributing by external factors.
24-48 hours arrival at mill, we will obtain as much information as we could when receiving call and plan the necessary actions.
We are well-versed with Elliott, Dresser-Rand / Turbodyne, Shinko and Prime steam turbines.
We are working closely with customers in palm oil mills and manufacturing industry across Malaysia, Philippines, and other ASEAN countries, capable to travel abroad to support our customers.
